Garden of Taozi

What started as a class in the Becker School of Design and Technology (BSDT) program became a video game IP released into the gaming market. As the creative director of the project, I've worked on many different parts of the project, including level design, 3D modeling, UI, and marketing.

Level Design

    Designing the levels was my primary role. I've built all of the levels in the game, from whiteboxing the layout to art asset implementation. I've worked with every discipline on the team to make these stylized levels come to life. These were built in Unity Engine.

    3D Modeling

      I've made some of the 3D art assets for this game. Modeled in Maya and textured in Adobe 3D Substance Painter and then implemented them into the game engine.

      User Interface

        I've worked on UI for the game as well, namely the main menu, the level select menu and the help menu. This was done in Adobe Photoshop.

        Marketing/Promotion

          I've showcased this game at events, including PAX East, Clark Expo at Clark University. I took in feedback to improve the level design and menu layouts and given out peach stress balls!
